This role involves developing sophisticated testbenches and verification methodologies to ensure the success of multi-gigabit wireless technology. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect verification environments for complex radio control paths. This position requires a deep understanding of both digital design and RF/mixed-signal systems.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated expertise verifying complex digital ASICs with a track record of successful silicon tapeouts
- Deep knowledge of ASIC verification flows with SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience developing verification environments from scratch and bringing up complex designs in simulation
- Experience with constrained random testing, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification
- Experience verifying Radio digital controllers, DSPs, PLL control systems, or wireless transceiver subsystems
- Exposure to RF/analog system designs such as LNAs, Mixers, PLLs, amplifiers, LDOs, DAC / ADCs
- Experience with digital + mixed-signal co-simulation using SystemVerilog analog behavioral models
- Exposure to Python or similar scripting for automation, analysis, or infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional technical decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead verification of Radio digital controllers and Digital+RF subsystems
- Architect verification environments for complex radio control and transceiver paths
- Develop verification strategies for radio-modeled subsystems
- Collaborate with Design, RF, PHY, Systems, and Integration teams
- Drive verification strategies and establish best practices
