Job description

This role involves leading the architecture of the SoC display subsystem within Apple's Platform Architecture team. The team fosters a collaborative environment focused on engineering excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will work on various aspects of the display subsystem, including memory fabric interface and data flow controls. This position requires extensive experience in chip and display subsystem architecture.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in chip architecture and display subsystem architecture
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in signal/image processing
  • MS or PhD degree is preferred
  • Understanding of SoC display subsystem architecture and performance tradeoffs
  • Expertise in memory subsystem, memory interface, and DMA

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture of the SoC display subsystem
  • Develop algorithms and architectures for display interfaces
  • Collaborate with engineers across Apple to enhance technology experiences
  • Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams
  • Address technological and architectural challenges in the display subsystem
