Job description
The Senior Software Engineer role at Apple focuses on bridging user-facing applications and high-scale data infrastructure within the Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for capturing and tracking manufacturing data for all Apple products globally. The position requires a strong aptitude for data engineering and involves designing, building, and scaling critical microservices, web applications, and data pipelines. Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and building scalable full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Golang, Java, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with modern web technologies, specifically React.js (Redux/Context API) and TypeScript.
- Experience utilizing Generative AI tools to accelerate development cycles and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures, as well as distributed system concepts.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration, as well as public cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
