Job description
The Quality Focused Engineering Owner will work on an online experimentation platform at Apple, focusing on delivering high-quality features, apps, and operating systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers, partner teams, and leaders to ensure quality across the platform. The owner will be responsible for the quality roadmap and will engage in both hands-on execution and strategic planning for quality initiatives. The position requires a passion for building a culture of quality and setting best practices within the organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Demonstrated excellence in hands-on, creative manual testing
- Experience building test automation and CI/CD processes
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results
- Experience driving effective communication across teams
- Cross-functional leadership experience with engineers, leaders, and project managers
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with Objective-C, Swift, and other Apple technologies
- Experience with device daemons and memory-constrained development
- Experience working full stack, from frontend to server and database
