We are hiring a researcher with a strong technical background in Image/Video generation and editing, as well as Multimodal Foundation Models. This role involves developing and evaluating multimodal foundation models for various applications in Apple's AI-powered products. You will collaborate with a diverse team and contribute to innovative research that advances product capabilities. • PhD, MS or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling
• Experience in developing models for computer vision tasks, such as object detection and visual question answering
• Experience in image generation models, such as VAE, GAN, and diffusion models
• Proficiency in one of the following deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Jax, Tensorflow
• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Java, C++
• Experience in developing state-of-the-art image generation/editing models
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player

• Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate foundational image generation and image editing models
• Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate domain-specific image generation and editing models for various tasks
• Conduct innovative research and transfer pioneering research in generative AI to production-ready technologies
• Understand product requirements and translate them into modeling and engineering tasks
