Job description

The Product Solutions Engineer role at Google focuses on providing technical support and solutions for Google Ads customers. As part of the gTech Ads team, you will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues related to authentication and security. The position involves collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience and improve product offerings. You will also develop tools and automation to streamline diagnostics and data fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey.
  • Lead the technical investigation, triage, and resolution of escalations related to identity management.
  • Act as the technical engineer on passwordless authentication rollouts.
  • Develop tools and automation for better diagnostics and debugging.
  • Partner with Product Engineering and Trust and Safety to identify systemic authentication vulnerabilities.
