Job description

Join Apple's wireless silicon development team, focusing on low-power architecture and power modeling for wireless communication SoCs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of ASIC power and experience with power tools such as PTPX and Power Artist.
  • Understanding of ASIC logic design and low power design principles.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • Basic knowledge of common SOC components including CPU, fabric, peripherals, and PCIe.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in pre-silicon power estimation and modeling.
  • Actual low power design experience.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies including WIFI, BT, and UWB.
  • Familiarity with ASIC physical design and static timing analysis.
  • Experience in system architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of common SOC components.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct power modeling, analysis, and correlation tasks for wireless communication SoCs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive low-power architecture initiatives.
  • Ensure the delivery of functional products to customers efficiently.
  • Participate in pre-silicon power estimation and modeling efforts.
  • Engage in post-silicon functional debugging and power correlation.
