Job description

The Senior Software Engineer will join the Ads ML Experimentation team at Apple, focusing on building advanced software platforms and systems for experimentation. This role involves developing machine learning algorithms that connect users to content while ensuring user privacy. The engineer will design tools for managing A/B tests and real-time monitoring of experiments. Collaboration with business leaders to evolve the multivariate experimentation platform is essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, maintaining, and extending web-scale production systems.
  • Strong experience in experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and machine learning methodologies.
  • Fluency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with event stream processing technologies like Spark Streaming, Kafka, or Flink.
  • Familiarity with data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks like Airflow or Kubeflow.
  • Excellent communication, social, and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in the advertising industry is a plus.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
