The role involves joining Apple's Advanced Packaging Program to drive package integration and technology development for next-generation products. Engineers will work on advanced packaging technologies that enhance Apple's silicon performance. The position requires collaboration with world-class engineers to tackle complex integration challenges and transition new packaging innovations from concept to mass production. Candidates will be part of a cross-functional team focused on semiconductor packaging.

• Deep expertise in semiconductor packaging or related disciplines is required.
• A BS degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience is necessary.
• A PhD with 6+ years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Experience in silicon fab interconnect process integration in BEoL process, RDL, fine pitch μ-bumps, hybrid bonds, and TSVs is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties of fab materials is required.
• Expertise in Si Fab equipment and Fab Logistics Management is necessary.
• Experience with advanced packaging for groundbreaking CMOS nodes is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and/or thermal characterization and failure analysis is required.
• Experience with tools such as TCAD, JMP, Virtuoso, KLayout, and Ansys EDT is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
