The Wallet Apps & Frameworks team is seeking dedicated software developers to contribute to innovative technology used by millions daily. This role involves working on Apple Pay and the Wallet app, which consolidates various digital items for users. Engineers will engage in diverse tasks from user interface design to backend processing and framework development. • Significant experience as a senior technical leader developing feature-rich platform native mobile or desktop applications.
• 8+ years of experience building software solutions for iOS or macOS.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Passion for product quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of optimization and performance issues across software layers.
• OS programming experience.
• Experience with Swift, Objective-C, and/or C++.
• Core Animation experience.
• Familiarity with NFC and related technologies.
• Understanding of security, digital signatures, and PKI.
• Experience with performance analysis including Instruments.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Design high-level user interfaces and write background processing and networking code.
• Develop frameworks used by other teams at Apple and third-party developers.
• Collaborate closely with other iOS engineering teams and human interface designers.
• Work on challenging projects and complex problems to deliver novel solutions.
• Ensure the best possible application performance including fast launch times and smooth scrolling.
• Contribute to building amazing products that customers will love.
