Job description

The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPO) at Apple is responsible for launching products on time with high quality and maximum customer availability. This role requires a dynamic leader who excels in program and project management while communicating effectively across all levels of the organization. The NPO collaborates with various teams, including engineering and supply chain, to ensure product manufacturability and testability. The position is pivotal in driving ramp readiness and resolving conflicts within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Product/Program Management
  • MS or BS Degree
  • Strong leadership skills and self-motivation
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven attitude
  • Solid communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience
  • Masters or MBA are considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead Apple and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
  • Drive ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations, and OEM teams.
  • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
  • Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while ensuring quality.
  • Manage communications, both upward and downward through the organization, raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.
