Job description

The Analog Mixed Signal IP Silicon Validation Engineer will play a crucial role in lab characterization and validation of analog and mixed signal embedded circuits. This position involves collaboration with multi-functional teams to launch advanced mobile SoCs. The engineer will work on high-speed SerDes blocks and contribute to the development of methodologies that ensure performance across various operating conditions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of related industry experience.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SerDes lab work.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed SerDes blocks.
  • Possess hands-on experience with various high-speed SerDes architectures, including NRZ and PAM.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of crucial SerDes blocks such as CTLE, DFE, FFE, CDR, and PLLs.
  • Be proficient in using test and measurement equipment like high-speed oscilloscopes and BERTs.
  • Understand SerDes adaptation techniques and analyze SerDes signal integrity.
  • Exhibit strong debugging and problem-solving skills with data investigation expertise.
  • Develop robust test methodologies to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins across PVT variations.
  • Support ATE and Product Engineering.
