This role focuses on ensuring the availability and performance of mission-critical platforms related to identity and access management. You will work in a collaborative environment to deliver robust security features that impact billions of customers. If you are passionate about making a real impact, this is the place for you.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in at least one coding language, preferably Java.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in server-side Java development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Java with a proven understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and micro-services architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with database systems, including SQL and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra and Redis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and performance of high volume, highly available platforms and applications related to identity and access management.
  • Contribute to the development of robust security features for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve software and infrastructure.
  • Maintain mission-critical platforms to support Apple's identity management system.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
