This position involves working on advanced DC-DC power designs for Apple's next generation Mac platforms, including portable, desktop, and server systems. As a DC-DC power system designer, you will be responsible for driving power circuit designs from concept to manufacturing. • Electrical or Computer engineering degree with more than 5 years of relevant work experience in consumer and server electronics or semiconductor companies.
• Understanding of single- and multi-phase DC-DC regulators, control loops, passive components, operating modes, thermals, efficiency, and fault protection functions.
• Experience in power circuit design, simulations, functionality and performance validation, test automation, and issue debugging.
• Proficiency in code development skills such as Python, Matlab, or Math Cad.
• Experience with multi-channel power management integrated circuits and high-current data-center rack power distribution.
• Background in analog, digital, or power integrated circuit design.
• Experience with digital hardware design, including microcontrollers and digital interfaces like I2C, SPI, and SPMI.
