Requirements
- 4+ years of related experience building high throughput scalable applications or machine learning models.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience building data processing pipelines and large scale machine learning systems with big data technologies like Spark, SQL, or Snowflake.
- PhD or Graduate degree with research/work experience utilizing data science techniques, or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
- Experience in Search, Recommender Systems, Personalization, or Natural Language Processing.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Online Retail Decision Automation team in researching and developing algorithms.
- Develop models for product search, recommendation systems, and personalization.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Implement machine learning algorithms and testing workflows.
- Contribute to new projects and craft products that enhance customer experience.
