Job description

The NVH/eNoise Engineer role at Google involves working on the development of custom silicon solutions for Google's consumer products. The engineer will focus on noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) testing and analysis to enhance product performance. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery. The engineer will also be responsible for validating designs and optimizing eNoise mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an electrical, audio, or acoustic engineering technical environment, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with audio or NVH test and analysis systems such as Polytec LDV, Soundcheck, B&K Connect, and Artemis.

Responsibilities

  • Design Google's products by owning architecture, design, and validation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a product to market.
  • Plan and lead validation of designs.
  • Set factory test requirements to bring designs to production.
  • Focus on eNoise mitigation, vibration optimization, failure analysis, and factory and production support.
