Job description

The Graphics Cache Hierarchy Verification Engineer will focus on pre-silicon RTL verification of graphics memory subsystem units, including caches and memory management units. This role requires a deep understanding of micro-architectural details and their integration within GPU design. The position offers an opportunity to enhance expertise in both software engineering and graphics hardware architecture. The engineer will work closely with design teams to ensure functionality and performance of the blocks they own.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Hardware Description Languages like Verilog or System Verilog
  • Strong background in CPU or GPU architecture
  • Good fundamental software and programming skills
  • Experience with verification languages such as SystemVerilog
  • Familiarity with HDL simulators and waveform viewers
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages and Data Structures
  • Experience with caches, address translation units
  • Experience with Perl, Ruby, Shell scripting, and Makefiles

Responsibilities

  • Author test plans for block or subsystem level functionality
  • Architect and develop highly complex verification software components
  • Collaborate closely with design team members to debug and close the blocks owned
  • Work on test benches ranging from sub-blocks to subsystems containing multiple blocks
