Job description
This position offers an opportunity to work with Apple on innovative display technologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop electrical solutions for next-generation products like iPad, Mac, and MacBook. Candidates will engage in a variety of electrical engineering disciplines, including power design and PCB design. The position also requires conducting validation in the lab and presenting results to leadership.
Requirements
- BSEE in electronic circuits, analog design, system integration, or related electronic field with 3+ years of experience
- MSEE in Power Electronics with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience with discrete design of either analog or digital circuits
- Experience in PCB design of analog and high-speed digital systems for EMC
- Experience with scripting tools for automation and data collection such as Python or Shell
- Experience with simulation and design tools such as SPICE-based simulators and mathematical analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Apple internal cross-functional teams to define display electrical solutions
- Partner with the mechanical and thermal teams for integration solutions, including schematic, BOM, and PCB layout studies
- Develop simulation, calculation, and analytical models and hardware prototypes to prove design concepts
- Conduct validation in the lab, documenting and presenting results for leadership and cross-functional teams
- Travel internationally as needed to support projects, with a maximum of 25% travel time per calendar year expected
