The SAP ABAP Support Engineer at Apple will play a vital role in supporting enterprise applications that drive core functions such as Sales, Retail, and Finance. This position is part of the IS&T organization's SAP Development Team, focusing on developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining business applications. The engineer will contribute to system reliability and security while collaborating with various teams. The role requires participation in a rotational on-call support schedule to address production issues promptly.

• 2 years of professional experience in SAP Application Development and Support and external non-SAP Services
• 2 years of professional experience in developing custom applications in ABAP and troubleshooting/customizing SAP delivered standard applications
• 2 years of professional experience with Application programming on S/4HANA including RAP, OData, CDS Views, and SAP FIOR
• 2 years of hands-on development experience in Eclipse Tool
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent years of work experience
• Hands-on experience in Performance Tuning for ABAP and CDS, HANA applications
• Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5 and SAP BTP Services is a plus
• Experience in Production Support projects
• Knowledge of SAP SqlScript for HANA
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI
• Knowledge of debugging web applications using browser dev tools like Chrome DevTools

• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain business applications in ABAP.
• Monitor support quality and ensure process adherence.
• Identify technical improvement areas for teams and individuals.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement such efforts.
• Participate in a rotational on-call support schedule to respond to production issues.
• Interact regularly with SAP Support Functional, BASIS, and Security teams.
• Manage issues and perform proactive system monitoring.
