Job description
As a Front-End Methodology CAD Engineer at Apple, you will be integral to developing and maintaining automation software for RTL design teams. Your role will involve supporting RTL analysis applications and developing Generative AI solutions to enhance user experience. You will work within the Silicon Technologies group to ensure high-quality design flows are utilized effectively. This position emphasizes collaboration and training to empower engineers in their design efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum of a BS degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in CAD methodology.
- Expertise in programming in Python and Perl.
- Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience with EDA tools related to Clock Domain Crossing, Reset Domain Crossing, or Lint.
- Knowledge of TCL.
- Experience in large-scale software system development from specification to deployment.
- Prior customer support experience.
- Good communication skills and strong debugging abilities.
- MSEE/CE/CS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote a reliable work environment for developing and maintaining automation software.
- Support and develop RTL analysis applications for SoCs across multiple design sites.
- Drive robust and scalable methodology solutions across RTL Design and DV teams.
- Ensure the right flows are used at the right time for project milestones.
- Curate internal training materials and coordinate vendor trainings.
- Foster high-quality flows that enable Apple Silicon to produce chips for Apple's products.
