As a Graphics Core Hardware Verification Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on verifying high performance and low power graphics processors. Requirements
- BS degree is required.
- Experience or coursework in computer architecture is necessary.
- Experience or coursework in digital design and verification is needed.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby is preferred.
- Experience or coursework with object-oriented programming languages is required.
- Familiarity with GPU architecture including OpenGL, Vulkan, and Metal is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Use hardware description languages like Verilog and hardware verification languages such as SystemVerilog/UVM to verify GPU RTL designs.
- Participate in design reviews and assist with the creation of test plans.
- Assist in architecting test benches for verification.
- Develop sophisticated stimulus components using constrained random and coverage-driven principles.
- Create advanced checking components using techniques like reference models, scoreboards, and SystemVerilog assertions.
- Run simulations and debug issues across both hardware and software.
- Perform coverage analysis and participate in design verification code reviews.
