This role focuses on scaling and advancing the Apple Pay ecosystem by collaborating with various partners including issuers, networks, and FinTechs. The position requires a hybrid product/project professional to provide expertise during initial engagements and implement new features with strategic partners. The individual will drive partner integrations and design technical solutions while ensuring alignment across teams. The goal is to enhance payment experiences and contribute to the innovation of Apple Pay and the Wallet ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an engineering project/program/product manager, ideally within fintech or core payment technologies.
- Experience in the payments industry and digital wallets.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives with hands-on technical expertise across the payment ecosystem.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- B.A./B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.
- Direct experience working with external partners on cross-channel initiatives and new technologies.
- Deep understanding of Network Tokenization standards, NFC Technologies, EMV contactless, 3DS, ISO 8583/ISO 20022, RTP, WSDL, and mobile technology.
- Experience in payment processing, mobile payments, issuer apps, electronic commerce, and NFC ecosystem applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business development, product, developer relations, and engineering teams.
- Drive partner integrations and design scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead multiple Apple Pay projects from conception through execution.
- Ensure alignment across partners and internal teams.
- Evangelize Apple Pay technology and drive Wallet adoption.
- Solve customer problems and understand industry standards and technology trends.
