Job description
The role is for a Mixed Signal Designer within the Custom Silicon Management Group, focusing on developing next-generation CMOS image sensor solutions. The position involves collaboration with multi-functional teams and external vendors to drive technical engagements and ensure effective communication. The candidate will be responsible for the specification and verification of sensor digital signal processing. This is a senior-level position requiring extensive experience in digital design and a strong understanding of image sensor technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of digital design experience
- Ability to use industry standard ASIC design tools
- Experience with modern design verification techniques in mixed signal environments
- Multi-disciplinary understanding of EE, CE, and Physics principles is a plus
- Experience with image sensor technologies is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global sensor suppliers to develop and evaluate new sensors.
- Analyze digital micro-architecture and embedded sub-systems with sensor designers.
- Detail and communicate results to multi-functional engineering teams.
- Evaluate the contribution of the sensor to system performance with internal customer teams.
- Ensure sufficient and correct verification/testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance.
