Job description
The role is for a 3D Artist on the Tools & Technology team, focusing on developing content, features, and workflows for game production. The team consists of veteran game developers who utilize a proprietary cross-platform game engine. The artist will collaborate with designers and engineers to bring 3D environments to life. A strong background in 3D art and a passion for games are essential for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
- 10+ years of experience working as a 3D artist in the games industry.
- Experience as a 3D artist in the games industry including modeling, sculpting, material creation, and lighting.
- Experience with look development and industry-standard 3D software packages.
- Experience with physically based material workflows.
- Strong artistic foundation in design, composition, color, and lighting.
- Strong understanding of asset workflows in all stages of production.
- Strong narrative and environmental storytelling skills with regards to set dressing and world building.
- Contributed to the development of two or more shipped games, PC or console.
