Job description

This role is for a Software Engineer at Apple, focusing on building innovative client-facing web applications using Java, Spring frameworks, and other modern technologies. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in React and .JS
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and developing event-based, distributed, highly available systems
  • 3+ years of experience in securing applications with a deep understanding of OWASP top 10 risks and solutions
  • 4+ years of proven experience in architecting and developing enterprise-level technology at a global scale
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-level, highly available web application platforms applying Java, Spring frameworks, JPA & Hibernate, REST/SOAP web services
  • Develop prototypes and POCs to demonstrate new ideas or illustrate the use of new technologies
  • Work with project managers, architects, technical leads, and vendors on defining project scope and deliverables
  • Build positive relationships with multi-functional internal organizations
  • Mentor and lead geographically distributed teams while maintaining focus on quality
