The Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems (WTE) team is seeking a highly qualified software test engineer to ensure quality across various wireless technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Thread, and Zigbee. This role involves working on platforms including iOS, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac OS. The ideal candidate will blend innovation, quality, and collaboration to make a significant impact. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in WiFi, Bluetooth, or Thread/Zigbee functional or performance testing.
- Experience in developing test strategies and executing them through automation or manual testing.
- Solid understanding of existing wireless communication protocols, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
- Good understanding of WiFi/Bluetooth/Cellular coexistence.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ with previous automation experience.
- Experience in WiFi/BT IoT or certification experience is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of analyzing over-the-air data.
- Knowledge of lab equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and sniffer tools.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality for wireless technologies across multiple platforms.
- Develop and execute test strategies for wireless communication protocols.
- Support development by debugging and reproducing issues.
- Communicate effectively and drive multiple projects across various teams.
- Analyze over-the-air data to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.
