As a Wireless Firmware Engineer on the physical layer development team, you will be integral to the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware efforts within a silicon design group. This role involves crafting sophisticated embedded firmware that enhances product performance and innovates new cellular technologies. You will collaborate with various product development groups to push the boundaries of wireless systems. The position requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable with all aspects of embedded software design and development.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of mobile communications in 4G/5G 3GPP protocols and physical layer and radio aspects.
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and RF fundamentals.
• Excellent command of C and C++, with working experience in compilers, build, and source code control tools.
• Working knowledge of CPU architecture, HW/SW interfaces, and memory management.
• Proficiency with debugging in embedded software systems and familiarity with JTAG and ETM Trace tools.
• Knowledge of communication theory, wireless standards, radio architecture, and interfaces.
• Previous working experience in a real-time embedded product.
• Previous working experience developing RFSW for a cellular modem.
