You will collaborate with a world-class silicon design team to define performance, power, and area (PPA) targets for upcoming SoCs. Your work will involve tracking the development of custom designs and SRAMs throughout the design cycle. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking circuit design techniques for Apple's flagship products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience within a SoC design cycle, developing custom circuits and SRAM/Register File for low power, low voltage, and high performance
- Knowledge of Cache design/architecture and memory hierarchy is a huge plus
- Solid understanding of industry-standard design tools
- Deep understanding of nanometer device physics and leakage mechanisms
Responsibilities
- Perform design analysis to define PPA targets for current and future tech nodes
- Work with an extraordinary SRAM and custom circuit team to formulate design specifications
- Conduct layout and simulations to establish PPA trends
- Finalize the list of SRAMs and custom designs to be built for next SoCs/products
- Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to define specifications, track dependencies, and provide technical solutions
- Track design development of SRAMs and other custom designs for schedule, specification closure, PPA, and quality
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life.
