Job description
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality machine learning solutions for Apple products. This role involves testing the Apple Neural Engine software and developing automation frameworks to validate core components. The ideal candidate will work closely with software development teams to implement test plans and improve product quality. A strong interest in learning new technologies and a background in large-volume consumer products are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in hardware related testing
- Experience in test automation and tool development
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
- Experience with crafting system and feature level test plans and test cases
- Familiarity with software development life cycle, testing methodologies and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Craft test cases and implement test plans related to functionality, performance, power, and stability of the Apple Neural Engine
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and new automation test cases
- Debug hardware related issues and assess the quality of releases
- Use continuous integration environments and tools to improve test coverage
- Partner with development teams and multi-functional QA teams to triage, diagnose, and debug issues
- Influence the team on testability and bug prevention strategies
