Job description

Apple is seeking a talented IC Designer to join their dynamic team, focusing on the development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for integrated circuit devices. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define, design, and take to production innovative circuits that enhance Apple products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design and a passion for solving complex challenges. This position offers the opportunity to impact millions of customers by crafting cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a technical discipline is required.
  • Experience in conceptualizing, evaluating, designing, and taking to production analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Expertise in high-precision circuit design techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of device physics related to semiconductor devices and manufacturing technology.
  • Solid understanding of ADC/DAC architectures and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in C, MATLAB, Verilog, and Python programming.
  • Experience with AI/ML in analog/mixed-signal circuit design is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, implement, and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits and sub-systems.
  • Develop and run high-level simulations to validate top-level integration.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to implement new circuits and drive them into production.
  • Define production and bench-top test plans and analyze results.
  • Create integration guides and user documents for new circuits and sub-systems.
  • Assist with challenges in implementing new circuits into complex SoCs.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
