Job description

The Mixed Signal IP Integration Engineer at Google will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration. This position involves working with cutting-edge TPU technology to develop custom silicon solutions that enhance machine learning capabilities. The engineer will be part of a silicon design team focused on integrating mixed signal IPs and improving the performance of TPUs. This highly cross-functional role requires collaboration across various teams to ensure successful execution throughout the silicon product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of silicon engineering experience.
  • Experience designing or integrating analog PHY designs such as PCIe, UCIe, or HBM PHYs.
  • Experience with design integration flows and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Mixed Signal IP selection and procurement.
  • Own Mixed Signal IP planning and roadmap definition.
  • Coordinate pre-silicon integration strategy of Mixed Signal IPs.
  • Coordinate Mixed Signal IP implementation with cross-functional teams including Design, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, and Post-Silicon.
  • Assist in post silicon bring-up and validation of Mixed Signal IPs.
