Job description

Join Apple's security ecosystem as a Security Server Application Engineer, where you will contribute to developing custom server-side security solutions. This role requires a strong programmer with experience in mission-critical security systems and a passion for security and development excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide operational support while mentoring junior engineers. Occasional travel may be required as part of the role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience shipping critical deliverables
  • Proficiency in Java and Swift or other object-oriented languages and accompanying frameworks
  • Solid understanding of cryptographic primitives, such as PKI, ASN1, x.509, authentication protocols, key exchange protocols, and PQC algorithms
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track records in designing, leading, and shipping mission-critical security services in Java or Swift that run at a global scale
  • Proven track records in leading large cross-functional teams in mission-critical initiatives
  • Proven track records in designing, implementing, and supporting large scale security systems that are in production today
  • Proven track records in presenting to senior leadership and executives
