  • Experience with Synopsys VCS, XCelium, or Modelsim
  • Good communication skills are required
  • Experience writing or maintaining a script or Makefile that builds a simulation model from RTL is a plus
  • Familiarity with Verdi and/or Indago is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of C and C++ is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance existing software systems for regression-testing silicon designs.
  • Identify and report defects in chip designs to ensure high-quality silicon.
  • Collaborate with EDA vendors to incorporate new capabilities and resolve tool problems.
  • Guide engineers in diagnosing complex problems and provide solutions.
  • Implement new functionality to address emerging challenges and optimize existing methods.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life.
