Job description
As a Physical Electrical Analysis Engineer on the SoC team at Apple, you will focus on driving the electrical analysis and verification of system-on-chip (SoC) designs. This role involves performing various electrical analyses at both block and chip levels, ensuring the integrity and performance of Apple hardware products. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, including CAD and implementation teams, throughout the chip design cycle. Your contributions will be vital in achieving sign-off closure for tape-out, reinforcing Apple's commitment to innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience
- Knowledge of computer architecture, circuit design, and/or low power architecture
- Knowledge of scripting or programming skills like Python
- Experience with ASIC or AMS physical implementation and analysis flow
- Circuit design background and SPICE experience
Responsibilities
- Perform various electrical analyses at block or chip level, including Static/Dynamic IR, EM, Noise, and Signal EM.
- Work multi-functionally with CAD/technology teams for flow bring up and validation.
- Collaborate with the implementation team during the entire chip design cycle to drive sign-off closure for tape-out.
- Automate and debug verification flows for digital VLSI design using scripting skills.
