Job description
The User Privacy team at Apple is seeking an engineer passionate about test development to ensure robust privacy protections across all Apple platforms. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create automated test plans for privacy functionality in products like Siri, Maps, and the App Store. The engineer will work across the entire stack and impact software features used by millions globally. Strong technical and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Experience writing code in Objective C or Swift to test an API, SDK, or Frameworks
- Experience developing for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and/or visionOS with XCTest and Xcode
- Experience developing various forms of software tests including unit, functional, performance, and stress tests
- Experience in driving development and deployment of continuous integration systems
- Detail oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with curiosity about developing quality software
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other teams on their automated test plans for iOS, watchOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS
- Design, implement, and hand off automated tests to teams as necessary
- Integrate with server-side components as appropriate
- Conduct risk analysis and integration testing across Apple platforms
- Triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions
