The Manufacturing Test Engineer role at Google focuses on developing and optimizing test platforms for compute, storage, and machine learning servers in collaboration with global manufacturing partners. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering experience.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing or Test Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, or instrumentation.
• Experience coding in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes accordingly.

• Design, build, optimize and deploy test platforms for Google compute/storage/ML servers at the global manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with the NPI team to define design for test (DFT) requirements and contribute input to Manufacturing Test Strategy.
• Deliver caliber Manufacturing Test Engineering support for new and existing products.
• Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and identify root causes of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes while driving issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
