As a CAD Engineer of Custom Infrastructure Support within the Silicon Technologies group, you will play a crucial role in supporting digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs using Cadence tools. Your work will involve providing user support for layout and schematic designers, as well as developing utilities and scripts to enhance productivity. You will collaborate closely with the design and layout teams to drive design methodology and support tool configuration. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of various programming languages and operating systems.

• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Python programming and scripting.
• Experience in analog and digital new product development IC CAD support using EDA tools.
• Some experience supporting Cadence Composer Virtuoso, Layout tools, VXL, PCELLs, and CDFs.
• Experience supporting data management tools.
• Proficient with Unix/Linux OS, utilities, and scripting.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Provide full support for Cadence custom flows, tool development, installation, and maintenance.
• Work with the design team to develop utilities and scripts.
• Support Virtuoso Layout and schematic software and release flows based on the revision control system.
• Drive design methodology to increase productivity.
• Work with the CAD team to provide general CAD services support, utilities, and scripts while also collaborating closely with the Design and Layout teams.
• Support tool configuration and application.
• Be involved in test development, automation, and regression flow support.
• Create and maintain relevant documentation.
