Job description

In this role, you will be a key member of Apple's Wireless Architecture team, focusing on the development of wireless technologies through system modeling and simulations. You will work on various wireless protocols and their interactions within devices, ensuring optimal performance in complex radio environments. This position requires a deep understanding of wireless communications and the ability to model network protocols effectively. Requirements

  • BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of wireless communications fundamentals
  • Experience with transceiver algorithm design
  • Solid understanding of test-driven and API-driven development methodologies
  • Skilled in software languages such as C/C++/Python
  • Deep knowledge of wireless systems and protocols including Cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth
  • Familiarity with version control tools
  • Knowledge and experience with AI and LLM
  • PhD is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Model network protocols and assess the effects of wireless channels and RF interactions.
  • Conduct simulations to study device performance in various radio and network conditions.
  • Provide reference simulations and conduct specific studies using the simulation platform.
  • Collaborate with the platform architecture team to enhance wireless technologies.
