Job description

In this role, you will be a key member of Apple's Wireless Architecture team, focusing on the development of wireless technologies through system modeling and simulations. You will work on various wireless protocols and their interactions within devices, ensuring optimal performance in complex radio environments. This position requires a deep understanding of wireless communications and the ability to conduct simulations that analyze network protocols and RF interactions. Requirements

  • BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • In-depth understanding of the fundamentals of wireless communications
  • Experience with wireless simulation and transceiver algorithm design
  • Skilled in software languages such as C/C++/Python
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of wireless systems and protocols including Cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth
  • Familiarity with version control tools and event-driven simulations
  • Knowledge and experience with AI and LLM are preferred
  • PhD is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Model network protocols and analyze the effects of wireless channels and RF interactions
  • Conduct simulations to study the performance of devices in complicated radio and network conditions
  • Provide reference simulations and conduct specific studies using the simulation platform
  • Collaborate with the platform architecture team to enhance wireless technology development
