Job description
This role involves leading two technical teams at Apple focused on enterprise channel success. The Partner Technical Success Team works with customers to ensure effective adoption and management of the Apple Platform, while the Partner Development Team enhances the capabilities of strategic partners. The manager will be responsible for driving technical solutions that impact sales growth and ensuring outstanding customer outcomes. This position requires collaboration with various teams to inform product direction and develop joint solution opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical sales, with at least 3 years in a channel or partner-facing technical capacity.
- 6+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and lead geographically distributed teams.
- Proven experience navigating multi-party sales motions involving a vendor, channel partner, and end customer simultaneously.
- Strong command of enterprise sales methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both executive and technical audiences.
- Experience building or scaling partner technical enablement programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Technical Partner Managers overseeing qualified opportunities.
- Drive accountability across the team to track pipeline health, win rates, and cycle-time.
- Guide the team in delivering technical solutions that impact sales growth.
- Coach and develop team members to maintain deep product knowledge.
- Partner closely with Partner Development Executives to identify customers for direct Apple engineering engagement.
- Champion the voice of customers and partners internally at Apple.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to surface partner-relevant roadmap content.
- Work alongside partners to identify and develop joint solution opportunities.
- Drive the creation and adoption of new standard methodologies for partner-led Apple deployments.
- Empower partners to build processes and infrastructure for integrating Apple products.
