As a Camera Silicon Architect at Apple, you will be integral to defining the future of imaging technology for various Apple products. You will work within the Camera Silicon Architecture team, focusing on innovative silicon solutions that enhance camera performance and capabilities. This role involves pioneering new architectures and algorithms that drive Apple’s Image Sensor chips and broader Camera System. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into concrete silicon requirements and solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with hardware architecture and digital design principles.
• Experience leading the development of novel features on image sensing devices or complex SoC/mixed-signal designs.
• MS/PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across distributed multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with silicon bring-up and debug, hardware-software system integration, and final productization.
• Experience with modeling and simulating device/system designs to assess power/performance/area/bandwidth/latency tradeoffs.
• Experience developing algorithms and signal processing data-path design.
• Experience with Matlab, C, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
• Experience communicating and presenting to management leadership and collaborating with technical cross-functional partners.

• Pioneer novel architectures and image signal processing algorithms for Apple’s Image Sensor chips.
• Collaborate with teams across Apple to explore and define next-generation camera silicon chipset architectures.
• Translate ambitious product goals into concrete silicon requirements and algorithmic solutions.
• Analyze system-level constraints and drive architectural decisions from early concept phases to productization.
• Explore emerging technologies to enhance camera performance and user experience.
