Job description

The role involves driving Data Programs that support machine learning features in collaboration with R&D partners. The team focuses on building high-quality ML datasets at scale for various Apple products. This position requires overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to completion while ensuring data quality standards are met. The individual will have the opportunity to positively impact critical features from day one.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with program/project management.
  • Excellent program/project management, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Scripting skills in Python to automate tasks and compute metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process for machine learning data needs of R&D partners.
  • Ensure that the data delivered meets Apple's rigorous quality standards.
  • Drive data acquisition, data synthesis, data science, annotation, and data QA.
  • Handle ambiguity, identify risks, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
