The Capital Expenditure Budgeting Program Manager at Apple is responsible for creating and maintaining capital equipment budgets for both new and sustaining products. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain operations, and ops finance
- Strong project management and time management capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong cross-functional teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence key stakeholder teams to make data-informed decisions
- Proficiency in working with large data sets in Excel, Tableau, and other platforms
- High attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree
- Masters or MBA are considered a plus
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and operations teams throughout the product development cycle to understand financial impacts of feature and process changes
- Lead cross-functional alignment in the development of capital expenditure cost models
- Actively drive cost savings opportunities and perform break-even analysis, return on investment, and trade-off analysis
- Attain budget approvals to facilitate timely equipment delivery to the factories
- Track and analyze spending against budgets
- Provide inputs to financial forecasts and quarter-end close periods
- Produce quality deliverables and insightful presentations to senior leadership
- Develop tools and processes that lead to improved team and organizational performance
