Job description

This position is for a multifaceted engineer within Apple's Silicon Technologies group, focusing on developing system level test programs for SoC devices. The role involves collaborating with various teams to address complex challenges in power and performance measurements. The engineer will be responsible for characterizing test setups and optimizing production screening processes. This is an opportunity to contribute to the next generation of high-performance, power-efficient processors that power Apple's devices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience in system level characterization using functional and worst case use cases.
  • Understanding of PDN impact on Vmin and ATE test content.
  • Experience working with and driving cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools for high volume characterization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform measurements that impact SoC power and performance for next generation products.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with ATE and software teams to develop case tests and benchmarks for production testing.
  • Characterize multiple test setups and optimize production screening guardband for each system.
  • Define characterization plans and perform statistical data analysis across teams.
