Job description
This position is for a multifaceted engineer within Apple's Silicon Technologies group, focusing on the development of system level test programs for SoC devices. The role involves collaborating with various multi-functional teams to address complex challenges in power and performance measurement. The engineer will be responsible for characterizing test setups and optimizing production screening processes. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 3 years of experience in system level characterization using functional and worst case use cases.
- Understanding of PDN impact on Vmin and ATE test content.
- Experience working with and driving cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools for high volume characterization.
Responsibilities
- Perform measurements that impact SoC power and performance for next generation products.
- Collaborate with design, validation, test, manufacturing, and software teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with ATE and software teams to develop case tests and benchmarks for production testing.
- Characterize multiple test setups and optimize production screening guardband for each system.
- Define characterization plans and perform statistical data analysis.
- Act as the central point of contact for multiple teams with direct impact on product.
