Job description
The Design Verification Engineer role at Apple involves verifying the functionality and performance of Apple's premier SOCs within the Hardware Technology organization. You will collaborate closely with design and micro-architecture teams to ensure the quality of the SOC or an IP or subsystem. This position requires a deep understanding of functional and performance goals, allowing you to develop effective test plans and methodologies. You will work on various types of IP, contributing to exciting designs and innovations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Skilled in digital verification processes, including constrained random verification, functional coverage, and assertion methodology.
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog, digital simulation, and debugging.
- Good software programming skills with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
- Knowledge of verification methodologies like UVM.
- Experience with C/C++ and assembly is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Verify the functionality and performance of SOCs and subsystems.
