Job description
The AppKit team is focused on enhancing the user experience on macOS by developing the user interface frameworks that are essential for all macOS applications. This role involves contributing to AppKit, UIKit, and SwiftUI, and building features that improve the overall functionality of the operating system. The team works on various components such as Dark Mode, Mac Catalyst, and user controls. Requirements
- Strong object-oriented programming skills are essential.
- In-depth development experience at the application and user interface level with Cocoa, Cocoa Touch, Windows, Android, or Java is required.
- Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Swift, Objective C, C, C++, or Java is necessary.
- Experience building user interface frameworks is a must.
- Experience working with low-level graphics APIs like Core Image, Core Graphics, or Metal is preferred.
