Job description
In this role at Apple, you will be responsible for implementing complete chip design from netlist to tapeout. You will work closely with the front-end team to understand chip architecture and drive physical aspects early in the design cycle. This position requires collaboration with the physical design team to establish methodologies and streamline design work. You will also be a focal point for place and route, managing engineers and ensuring project milestones are met.
Requirements
- Minimum BS degree with 3+ years of experience in chip design.
- Knowledgeable in partition or top level place and route implementation.
- Strong knowledge of physical design construction and analysis flows.
- Ability to adhere to stringent schedule and die size requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with industry standard tools and large SOC designs.
