Job description
The Health Study QE team is focused on enabling research into next-generation Health Sensing features by testing application software that collects health and sensor data. The role involves working with technologies like ECG and PPG for heart-rate sensing, and testing applications on macOS, iOS, and watchOS. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and resolving bugs while collaborating with developers and other quality engineers. A passion for quality and innovative testing methods is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong software development and test automation skills with high proficiency in Swift.
- Prior experience with Swift programming and developing iOS test automation using Xcode UI automation framework.
- Experience in developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Independently follow up on bugs and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Author detailed test plans that cover all functionality and edge cases of a system.
- Complete automated test plans on various hardware and software configurations.
- Build creative new tools, fixtures, and methodologies to stress software features.
- Document test cases and code used for test execution.
- Track performance, report results to management, and drive issues to closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
