Job description
The SOC Emulation team is seeking a strong engineer to focus on the creation, deployment, and support of advanced emulation environments. This role is highly visible and involves collaboration across various disciplines to ensure the successful design and delivery of functional products. The engineer will work closely with design, verification, power, silicon validation, performance, and software teams. A passion for innovation and strong teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with Verilog and VHDL design.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and System Verilog, particularly in Design Verification environments.
- Experience with waveform debug tools.
- Ability to write synthesizable SystemVerilog/Verilog code and SystemVerilog assertions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, TCL, or Makefile.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Emulation experience on platforms like Palladium, Veloce, or Zebu is a strong plus.
- Experience with Serial/High-Speed Protocols such as PCIE, USB, Display, and CIO is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple emulation environments using the latest emulation techniques.
- Conduct SoC bring-up on emulation and root cause failing SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment issues.
- Collaborate with leading emulation vendors to debug issues.
- Work closely with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams.
